Every year, the world of shipping celebrates Maritime Day. A special day set aside to commemorate seafarers, shippers, and agency operations worldwide.
This year’s theme is “New Technologies for Greener Shipping.”
“New Technologies for Greener Shipping” is an opportunity for all organizations to promote inclusive innovation, research & development, technology co-operation, and highlight solutions for decarbonization & environmentally friendly shipping. A mission set aside by the United Nations for their 2030 Agenda on sustainable development.
In regard to this year’s theme, we have taken upon ourselves to strive further for environment and climate change in our daily operations of:
- Cargo Handling.
- Customs Clearance.
- Logistics & Supply Chain.
- Ship Brokerage.
By reducing our carbon footprint to a greater extent, through:
- Carving out pollution caused from Bulk Cargo Handling.
- Regular maintenance of all our equipment.
- Staying up to date with modern technologies for faster and smoother operations.
As we push farther for trade growth in East Africa, we still abide by the world standards set forth by the International Standards Organization (ISO), maintaining a professional, conducive, and technologically driven work environment.
